A Night with Ziggy

Happy Birthday Josh! To celebrate Josh's BIG 30 I took him to see Ziggy Marely in Charlotte. Our good friends Phil and Mary came with us. What a fun and much needed night out!

Barry Fun Weekend

This weekend was awesome. We went to the lake and spent time with Grandma, Papa, and Uncle Ryan. Saturday we went to Dan Nicholas Park. It was really fun. We saw all kind of animals. We rode the train, paddle boats, and carousel. I also got to play on the largest playground I've ever seen. On Sunday we got to take a boat ride and get come ice cream at the marina. Uncle Ryan even let me get in the water with my clothes on. I had the best time.

Easter Fun at BHI

Easter was super fun this year. We got to go to the beach with the whole family. At first it was just us girls but later in the week Poppy, Daddy, Uncle Brad, and Uncle Jon came. We did so many fun things like swimming in the pool and ocean, collecting shells, Easter egg hunts, playing in the sand, bike riding, and of course lots of golf cart rides.  I am a really good swimmer. Mommy and daddy even let me go down the water slide. I loved spending time with my cousins too. They are both little babies so I got to show and teach them all kinds of stuff. I also met a few friends at the pool and one little boy on the dance floor at Eb and Flos. I really like to boogie these days.

Art In The Park

We had Art in the  Park at school this week. It was cool to see everyone's artwork on display outside. We also had a huge picnic with all of my friends and their parents. It was really fun. I love my shcool.

Mountain Time Again

We had a wonderful weekend in the mountains. Fun hiking and riding around and playing down by the pond. We also had our first trip to Grandfather Mountain. What a wonderful place to spend the day. Carsyn loved the otters but was terrified of the bears. She had no fear as always when crossing the mile high bridge. She is truly our little dare devil.

Baby Caroline

The meeting of the cousins. Baby Caroline is finally here. Carsyn and Kennedy were quick to check her out and welcome her to the family.

Emery's Party

 Carsyn is quite the social butterfly with a party every week these days. Here she is with Baby Emery in Charlotte. What a beautiful day in the park!!! Happy Birthday Emery!!!

Despite the unexpected crowds and illnesses we had a very nice afternoon. Carsyn enjoyed her party and time with friends and family. Thank everyone so much for coming. Thank you God for the nice weather and for helping me through it.

Birthday Girl

Carsyn, Gammy, and I had a great day out at Discovery Place Kids. She loved every minute. What a cool place! A wonderful way to get out some of that toddler energy.

Carsyn had the time of her life at buddy Cameron's Birthday Party at the Harris YMCA in Charlotte. She was fearless!!! She loved the huge cheese pit and bouncing around everywhere. What a clown.
